A friend of mine read about this in a science magazine that he subscribes to. I'm not good with all this space jargon and stuff, but some euro scientists are launching some....uhm...thing to orbit the earth for 50,000 years after which it will crash. I'm always skeptical about these ma-free thingies that ask for personal info like gender, DOB, hobbies, email... Usually used to spam you with adverts after profiling you...
Then again, what do I want to tell my descendants 50k years from now... By then the will be on ESP and will already know what I wanted to say ;)

@Milo u remember those days when D worshipin had hit Kenya then you were told fill the details of u and how many u are in your family then pple started saying they will start "eating" from the first born them mama na baba halafu the one who registered will be the last to go.... may be this will come for your descendants..
